Trawling the blogs is endlessly fascinating, and probably a little too distracting. But nonetheless, here are some interesting highlights:

• At Home With Books discovers one of my old favourites, the wonderfully offbeat Japanese novelist Yasunari Kawabata. And this new edition has the most gorgeous cover!
